NIDIA Member Team Quality Services Receives SDVOSB Status

In September, NIDIA Member, Team Quality Services (TQS) received certification from the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). TQS is headquartered in Auburn, IN and helps companies identify and prevent quality issues. Gen. Bunch Luncheon Recap

From the Chair – We had an excellent luncheon and presentation by General Bunch at Ceruti’s on 21 October. A big thank you to Doug Schwartz, Nick Darrah, and Carl Huber (Carl is the new NIBCC chair) for their help in planning and pulling off the event. Ivy Tech Apprenticeship Grant/Opportunities

Ivy Tech was on a team that was awarded a $5.9M grant from the United States Government focused on apprenticeships. NIDIA supported the award of this grant: “The Northeast Indiana Defense Industry Association (NIDIA) strongly supports the American Association of Port Authorities Strong, Secure National Ports and Supply Chain (SNaPS) proposal to create cybersecurity apprenticeship programs. 6th Annual Race for the Warrior

On Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 9 a.m., Northeast Indiana Base Community Council (NIBCC) will host its 6th Annual Race for the Warrior 5k/10k run/walk/roll runway race at the Fort Wayne International Airport.  The event will be held observing CDC and State of Indiana guidelines.
