Larger Cash Grants Available

The DoD Office of Economic Adjustment cash grant program for Indiana defense manufacturers, announced by NIDIA in March 2015, has been extended through 2016 and companies may now may receive larger cash grants.

The program will offer qualifying Indiana manufacturers 50% to 90% cash grants for core strengthening, market diversification and product commercialization projects selected by the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Core strengthening projects may include manufacturers working with Purdue subject matter experts on quality, lean or training within industry (TWI) implementation projects. See course list link below. Purdue experts may work on the floor with company staff to identify, train and implement such core strengthening solutions and the grants may pay for 50% to 90% of the project cost.
